Sometimes I wish everything would happen a little faster.
A dream that comes true instantly.
A change that becomes visible overnight.
A goal that can be achieved without detours.
But life rarely works that way.
Over the years, I've learned that many of the most beautiful things take time. Relationships grow. Trust develops. Children develop at their own pace. And we, too, change step by step.
Perhaps that's why we sometimes find it so hard to be patient.
We live in a world where almost everything is instantly available. But the truly valuable things cannot be rushed.
When I think of an olive tree, I often smile.
It grows slowly. Year after year. It defies wind, sun, and rain. Its roots grow stronger over time. No one would expect a young tree to have the strength of a centuries-old olive tree today.
And yet, every single day contributes to it.
Perhaps we, too, can grant ourselves this time.
Not everything has to be perfect today.
Not every dream has to come true tomorrow.
Sometimes it's enough to take the next small step and trust that everything will grow at the right time.
For me, patience doesn't mean just waiting.
Patience means continuing to move forward – even when you can't yet see the goal.
Perhaps that is precisely the greatest strength of an olive tree.
And perhaps ours too.

Just as an olive tree grows year after year, we too should allow ourselves the time to grow – at our own pace.
